Changes to Medicaid Health Plans in 2026
Louisiana Medicaid will not offer UnitedHealthcare beginning April 1, 2026. If you have UnitedHealthcare, you must move to a new plan before that date. Learn more.

New Healthy Louisiana Members
If you want to change your health plan or dental plan so your new plan starts April 1, 2026, you must make the change before 6 p.m. on March 30, 2026.
If you make the change after March 30 your new health plan or dental plan will start on May 1, 2026.
