Get emails, texts, or both
Now you can get messages by email, text, or both with Healthy Louisiana. You will stop getting enrollment letters by mail, and get them online instead. You will get an email, text message, or both when you have a letter in your online account.
Once you enroll (join a plan), you may choose to get emails, texts, or both. There are three ways to sign up:
• Phone: Call Healthy Louisiana at 1-855-229-6848 (TTY: 1-855-526-3346).
• Online: Log in to your account and go to the Enrollment and Contact Information page.
• Mobile app: Search for Healthy Louisiana on Google Play or the App Store.
If you have more than one person on your case, only one person needs to sign up for emails, text messages, or both. You can only use one email address and cell phone number for your case. The email address and/or cell phone number you use will get a message when you have a letter in your online account.
Once you sign up, you will not get enrollment letters by mail if they are online in your Healthy Louisiana account. You will still get other important letters from Medicaid by mail.
You will get the letters online faster than letters by mail. You can view letters in your account as soon as they are ready, so you do not have to wait for the mail.
Getting letters online is easy. The letters in your account will never expire, so you do not have to keep copies. You can view them in your account at any time.
You may opt out of (stop) getting emails, texts, or both at any time. If you do, you will get all letters by mail again.
